As a member of the Street Team, you'll use digital activism to encourage students to register for and participate in GLSEN’s Day of Silence. Each Street Team member chooses a Street Team ID and receives a unique registration link, and through different Street Team missions online, you'll aim to send as many people to that link as possible.
The member who sends the most folks to their link wins up to 25 custom Day of Silence shirts for their GSA or school! Four runners-up each receive their own shirt, too.
If you’re burning bright to change the world and looking for a way to get things done, apply for the Street Team! Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through Monday, April 9, 2018.
Through their deeper engagement in GLSEN’s Day of Silence, by increasing participation in the movement, the Street Team works to make schools safer and more inclusive for LGBTQ youth, especially LGBTQ students of color, trans and non-binary students, and other students from marginalized communities.
